Symptoms:
Flight Deck AR says “Tracker not available.”
Fixes:Only devices with Face ID / TrueDepth camera are supported.
Older iPads (Home button models) are not compatible.
Confirm you’re on iOS 17 or later for best support.
 -

Symptoms:
Tracker works, then suddenly stops.
Fixes:Check your Wi-Fi stability — avoid switching networks during flight.
If your router has both 2.4GHz and 5GHz, connect both your computer and iOS device to the same band.
Try restarting the app; Flight Deck AR reconnects automatically.

Symptoms:
Tracking works in default views, but not in X-Camera.
Fixes:Make sure you’ve enabled the TrackIR option for each camera inside X-Camera.
Check that you’re running Flight Deck AR 1.0.1 or later (X-Camera support added).
 -

Symptoms:
Head movements feel shaky or laggy.
Fixes:Check that X-Plane runs at 30 FPS or higher. Flight Track ONE updates up to 60 FPS, but low simulator FPS will reduce smoothness.
Enable Adaptive FPS in the app to sync with X-Plane’s frame rate.
Ensure the TrueDepth camera has good lighting and a clear view of your face.

Symptoms:
You return to the app after your device was in standby/sleep for a long time and Flight Track ONE no longer recognizes X-Plane.
Status: We’re working on a fix.
Workaround (for now):Force-quit Flight Track ONE and restart it.
Ensure your device and simulator are on the same Wi-Fi before starting tracking.

Symptoms:
App is running, but nothing moves in X-Plane.
Fixes:Ensure your iPhone/iPad and computer are on the same Wi-Fi network.
Restart X-Plane to refresh UDP connections.
Disable VPNs or firewall rules that may block local network traffic.
On macOS/Windows/Linux, confirm X-Plane’s “UDP data output” is enabled (default is ON).
f you are still unable to connect, check the following:
Use the Custom Connection option and enter the correct IP/port.
On Windows 11, multicast support may not be enabled by default.
Go to Control Panel → Programs and Features → Turn Windows features on or off.
Make sure Multicast support (or similar networking feature) is enabled.
After enabling, restart your computer and try again. -

Symptoms:
Pressing Start Tracking does nothing, or you see an error.
Fixes:Make sure your device has a TrueDepth camera (Face ID). Without it, tracking won’t work.
Check that you’ve granted camera access in iOS Settings → Privacy → Camera.
Restart the app and try again
