Head Tracking for X-Plane

Flight Track ONE

Turn your iPad or iPhone into a precise head tracker for X-Plane.
No extra hardware required.

Natural cockpit view

Look around smoothly—your head movement drives the camera in X-Plane.

Made for X-Plane

Specifically developed for X-Plane. Works seamlessly without network configuration or complex setup.

Premium feel, zero clutter

Polished visuals, low latency, and simple controls. No sensors, no wires.

How it works

  1. Install the app on your iPad or iPhone.

  2. Connect to X-Plane on the same Wi-Fi network.

  3. Fly — move your head; the cockpit view responds instantly.

Features

  • Real-time head tracking (yaw, pitch, roll and position)

  • Adjustable sensitivity, dead-zones, smoothing and more

  • Per Aircraft settings. Independent and automatically selected tracking configuration

  • Auto-center logic while still

  • Landscape/portrait aware

Requirements

Flight Track ONE uses Apple ARKit Face Tracking (TrueDepth).

  • Requires iPhone/iPad with Face ID (iPhone X or newer; iPad Pro with Face ID)

  • iOS/iPadOS 17.6+

  • X-Plane desktop (macOS/Windows/Linux)

  • Same local Wi-Fi for device and simulator

Performance

Flight Track ONE uses the TrueDepth camera at up to 60 FPS. While tracking runs independently, X-Plane should maintain at least 30 FPS for an optimal experience — higher frame rates will make the motion appear even smoother.

Flight Track ONE is a standalone product, available as a one-time purchase on the App Store.

While it is part of the Flight Deck ONE family, it is not included in Flight Deck ONE’s subscription plans. Links to “Plans” and “Features” in the website refer only to Flight Deck ONE.
